The purpose of this training is to equip staff in various settings (day program, community integration, or residential facilities) with practical, trauma-informed, person-centered interventions to address risky behaviors among adults with co-occurring mental health and I/DD needs. This training will focus on assessing for risk, implementing proactive strategies, and responding effectively to challenging situations with the ultimate goal of promoting safety, autonomy, and independence.
